When I introduce people to my blog the first thing they ask me is who is Randolph Scott? This post is intended to answer the question so I will never have to again. When I was young my mother made me watch this movie called Blazing Saddles. Good movie, take a look at it when you get a chance. Thought the movie the townspeople gave praise to their departed Sheriff (Randolph Scott), and for lack of a better phrase "were on dicks". I always found this funny and the memory stuck with me. Years later when I created this blog I thought that I needed a random name with an underlying significance. So When I named my blog Randolph Scott I thought to myself, just something else for the townspeople to be on dicks about.
